Peaceful Mind, Open Heart: Meditation and Dharma for Busy Lives
with Dr. Cheryl Fraser
Friday, March 8 - Sunday, March 10, 2013
at the Bethlehem Retreat Centre
2371 Arbot Road, Nanaimo, BC
The Buddha was arguably the first psychologist. He taught us how to directly experience our minds, thoughts, and emotions. Through cultivating awareness of our mind, we can reduce distress and increase calm and happiness.
This weekend will focus on insight meditation and Metta practice. It will be a silent residential retreat with some guided meditation and Dharma talks.
Registration information:
A few spots have been opened up by the Bethlehem Retreat Centre. Registrations with full payment must be received by February 8th. This guarantees the space at the Bethlehem Retreat Centre.
Space is very limited, so if you would like to attend, please send your registration forms in early.
Total Cost: $215
Please note that all deadlines are made by the Retreat Centre.
Registration forms are available at our Saturday Sangha meetings, or by emailing nanaimobuddhistmeditationgroup@shaw.ca.
