"The Dalai Lama's book of Wisdom"
Since we all have an equal right to be happy and since we are all linked to one another, no matter how important an individual is, logically the interest of the other 5 billion people on the planet, is more important than that of one single person. By thinking along these lines, you can eventually develop a sense of global responsibility. More that environmental problems, such as the depletion of the ozone layer, also clearly shows us the need for world cooperation. It seems that, with development, the whole world has become much smaller, but the human consciousness is still lagging behind. Anita Mann, BSW
